Answer

Vote by Mail ballots must be received by the San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division on or before 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 2nd), or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received within 7 days after Election Day.

If you are worried your ballot will be late, you can drop it at the 24-hour drop boxes available at Menlo Park City Hall (701 Laurel Street) or Menlo Park Boys & Girls Club (401 Pierce Rd), or during business hours at Atherton Town Hall (80 Fair Oaks Ln).

You can also vote in person on Election Day in Burgess Park at the Arillaga Family Recreation Center, 700 Alma Street, from 7 am to 8 pm.
